I love massages, mostly receiving them, but on occasion, giving them too. I've never been a fan of massage oils, finding them to be overpowering in scent (they all smell like medicine or vanilla extract, ick) and greasy. So in the past I've reached for the body butters, but they are cold on contact and you have to apply so much of the product to make the massage last longer then 10 minutes (of course, if I'm the one giving the massage, this is plenty of time:).
When I read about Jimmyjane's massage candles, EMBER, I had to have one. I ordered the Ginger & Date (The crispness of fresh Ginger is warmed by the burnt sugar hint of sun-drenched Date. This pair of aphrodisiac scents entices with its rich notes and warm embrace) and anxiously awaited for my new product to arrive.
Three days later I receive my candle. The first thing I noticed was how soft the wax was, but this turned out to be a good thing. After lighting the candle and letting it burn for about 15 minutes until there was enough of a "puddle", I blew it out and poured the hot wax into the palm of my hand. It was perfectly heated to the most comfortable level for a hot oil massage. I quickly phoned my man and told him about my new purchase and the rest of this story will stay....ummm...private, except for the part where I purchased the entire line for my store.
Jimmyjane's massage candles are made with the highest quality natural cosmetic-grade waxes and other plant extracts. During a massage, EMBER nourishes and hydrates the skin.
The Scented Garden sells all 6 scents available, each offers a unique pairing of aphrodisiac scents - a base note that leads the way, plus a charismatic top note to set the tone. As the company claims "our candles put sexy in the air, where naughty is nice and sexy is smart". No denying that statement, especially if you purchase one of the personal massager's that are offered within the line.
With products like this, every night can be a special occasion (well, maybe 3 nights a week)....
